Discounted Cash Flow Models Future Value Projection: A financial model that calculates what an investment is worth today by projecting its future cash flows over time (accounting for growth and decay) and discounting them back to present value using a risk rate.
Valuation Methods Explained
Multiplier (Market Snapshot): A fast calculation based on recent similar sales. It applies a market-average multiplier to your current earnings but ignores long-term future trends.
Discounted Cash Flow (Future Value Projection): A time-based financial model. It calculates the present value of 15 years of future cash flows, fully accounting for expected growth, future decay, and risk (discount rate).
Multiplier Valuation Market Snapshot: A fast market valuation based on (Net Publisher Share + Neighboring Rights Revenue) × Multiple. It represents what similar catalogs are selling for right now, but does not account for future growth or decay.
